Spring 2011 Fashion Trends for Women

The fashion trends for Spring 2011 will be a welcome change to “real” women everywhere. Instead of clothes that would only look good on a size 2 teenager, designers chose to show a variety of figure-flattering, figure forgiving clothes in luxurious fabrics and colors.

With a little bit of modification, these styles can be easily incorporated into anyone’s wardrobe.

Trend #1: Full cut trousers

For the past several seasons, designers like Marc Jacobs have mined the 70s look. This time, instead of a boho-hippie influence, we get the 70s look from the movie the “Ice Storm”. Think groovy pantsuits as they would have been worn in suburban Connecticut

These pants are mid to high rise, which may look strange after over a decade of low cut, hip slung jeans, and the inadvertent thong show that followed. This is a welcome change, as is the possibility of eliminating muffin top without having to diet.

Wear this style with a tucked in blouse, a skinny belt and wedge heels for an easy and stylish work look.

Trend #2: Maxi dresses

What could be easier than a long, loose dress? Today’s styles are slim, but not tight, and made with drapey fabrics like jersey.

Like everything else, it’s the details that count. To avoid looking like Mrs. Roper from “Three’s Company”, steer clear of Hawaiian prints or paisley. Instead, opt for solid colors in nudes or in the sure-to-be-everywhere color this spring: a soft mint green.

Trend #3: Pajama dressing

Yes, this is literally what some designers and fashion editors are calling this trend.

Loose pants tied at the waist, and boxy tees worn with a housecoat over them may seem like what most of us wear when we are home sick, not high fashion. But these basics are elevated when the pants are made of cashmere or silk, the tees are whisper thin and layered over each other and the over coat is in a dark shade like navy or black.

Also shown were dresses that looked like long, satin nightgowns. Of all the trends, this is perhaps the riskiest, fashion wise. Unless you work in a creative field, coming to work dressed in these clothes will probably draw some puzzled looks from your co-workers.

Trend #4: Bold colors

Although there were models on the runway wearing head to toe orange, electric blue and neon orange, even the designers tempered this style by pairing their clothes with plenty of whites and blacks. The result was a fresh way to update the basic neutrals most of us have in our closet.

Another way color was used this season was in the use of prints. Fruit themed prints were used, as were sailor-type stripes. The trend of mixing prints continues to be strong, as stripes were shown with flower prints. Kept in the same color family, this combination works.

These are just a few of the trends for Spring, and it is a promising one. Designers seemed to respond to the economy by presenting clothes that can be worn in a variety of seasons, from day to night, and in silhouettes that are timeless. Investment dressing may finally be brought to the masses to mean not a three thousand dollar purse, but a $150 lightweight cashmere sweater you’ll wear all year long.

Dating Tips For Teens That Actually Work

Since going out on dates is a brand new experience for teens, it makes perfect sense for them to feel stressed out about it. Having no clue what to expect is totally normal, but taking a little time to learn some dating tips for teens will make the whole thing much easier for you. Try not to believe everything you learn from a dating   magazine  or watch in a movie, because they will point you in the wrong direction. Believe it or not, going fast isn’t always the smartest choice in the dating world. The dating tips for teens explained in this article will give you a nice, smooth start in the dating game.

Don’t Listen To The Media

Number one on my list of dating tips for teens is for you to forget everything you’ve learned from movies or read in teen  magazines . You might think you already know how to handle any dating situation, just because you’ve seen movies and read  magazines  about dating. There’s nothing wrong with having this kind of reaction, but you have to understand that movies and  magazines  are created to make money off of you. The people in charge of media advertising take advantage of teenagers like you because they know you’ll probably be willing to pay so you can learn new stuff about dating and relationships. You’ll never see the media reveal the truth about how teens should act when they first start dating.

Tips For Guys and Girls

Both the guy and the girl are responsible for making sure a date goes well. Let’s start by talking about some tips for guys to use, and then wrap up this section with a few things girls should keep in mind. When they go to pick up their date, guys should always get out of the car and go up to the front door. Introducing yourself to her parents and asking if she has a curfew are a couple polite and respectful things you should be sure to do. If her parents have a set curfew for her, make sure to bring her back on time. Bringing her home earlier than instructed is a great way to earn a few extra brownie points from her parents early on.

Now let’s move into the tips for girls. Don’t stay out really late if your parents have set up a curfew for you to follow. Before asking for permission to stay out longer, wait a few dates so the guy has an opportunity to make a good impression with your parents. Our next section will discuss how you should handle those next few dates.

Take Your Time

You might label this one as a cliche, but I chose to put it in this dating tips for teens list anyway. It is much better to take your sweet time instead of rushing right into sex. There is a good reason your parents repeat this to you over and over again. Sex just makes everything more complicated. It’s better for you in the long run if you can learn to resist that strong physical attraction you feel in the beginning. It’s almost impossible to find something to talk about after having sex too soon with a person you barely know.

To Conclude…

The dating experience doesn’t have to be a stressful experience for teens. The dating tips for teens I’ve outlined above can make dating a fun and interesting experience for you. Instead of getting anxious and not knowing what to do, you will look forward to going on dates. Don’t forget what I said about ignoring what you read or see in dating  magazines  and dating movies. Another thing you have to remember is that both the guy and the girl are responsible for having an enjoyable date. Lastly, remember that if you want to avoid a truly awkward situation down the road, fight off your initial urge to have sex early on.

6.0 ASSIGNMENT

1.0 INTRODUCTION

In online business, if you are going to be selling information, which is highly recommended for beginners for the reasons discussed in the last chapter, there are three main niches you should focus on. They are Health and Happiness; Money and Wealth; Love and Beauty. We call them the big 3.

These niches and their sub-niches are good to go anytime anywhere. They have plenty people, plenty and surplus money to make from anywhere you are located in the globe. In other words, there are large and ever trending markets.

2.0 OBJECTIVES

  • To show the students the websites and the software to use for professional market research

  • To show the student proper way of using this software

  • The student should at least be able to use the basic level of these software

3.0 MAIN CONTENT

In my illustration in chapter 1, I used ‘make money online’, other veritable markets also include:

  1. Natural Cures

  2. Reversing Aging

  3. Fitness

  4. Dieting

  5. Self-Improvement

  6. Getting Rid of Acne

  7. Dating Advice

  8. Work From Home

  9. Blogging

  10. Internet Marketing

  11. Getting Your Ex Back

  12. Improving Your Marriage

  13. Weight Loss

  14. Work From Home,

  15. Etc.

All these can easily fit into the big three categories.

After you have determined your market niche, there are very specific ways and places to do market research if you want to make it to the top in this business. These exact ways and places are what we are going to be preoccupied with in this discussion.

3.1 Ubersugest.com

At Ubersuggest what you should do is to type in you niche or keyword and the site will return alphabetically all the relevant searches that ranges from niches to sub-niches for you to choose from. You can build many lucrative site(s) in the niche of your choice using these results.

I used a different niche keyword here – fitness

Scroll down the web page and observe the alphabetical arrangement of the Niches and sub-niches of your search result.

Do not forget to watch the video on this web page.

3.2 eBay.popular.com

The site gives ideas on popular and in-high-demand products.

Check the popular products by categories in the middle aspect of the site; and also on the left side of the page you will see popular products that are currently selling fast – click on the left, where the red arrow is, check the new dialogue box and you will see ‘trending collections’ at the base of the box. Those are products that are currently selling fast.

If the site is down, just type into the search box ‘popular product on sale at eBay’, use ‘All Categories’. This will equally give you the idea of what you should go for.

3.3  Magazine .com

This is a collection of real physical  magazine  that people buy and read in the real world.

The idea is that if there is a  magazine  on such topic then there is enough number of people to form a profitable market. Big companies don’t waste their money in unprofitable markets.

To use this site, click on the categories at the top and it will bring out all the listed categories, then click on each further niches and the sub-niches will be revealed as you follow the arrow in each of them. Also check on the bestsellers or compute other search terms into the search box and search.

3.4 Flippa.com

Flippa is good for sales of profitable and mature sites.

A newbie may have to be careful that he does not run into the wrong hands in the course of doing business here as many sharp deals have been reported.

But the important thing to note here is the types of websites that are on sale and the volume of sales. Then you can go back to build those kind of sites as they are often profitable ones for your business and possibly for sale later on.

3.5 Tecnorati.com

Technorati aggregates blogs and posts around the globe based on categories. In other words, it is a Blog Curator and Aggregator.

A simple way to do market research on the site is to use the Top 100 and or the Blog Directory, example: Blogs => Posts => Internet Marketing… to find profitable keywords other marketers are ranking for. You have to register to be able to lock into this website.

When you are online you can learn more on how to use this site here at wikihow:

http://www.wikihow.com/Add-Your-Blog-to-Technorati

It will give you insights into Products and the Industries they are found. As you click the products or the industries you will discover further niches and sub-niches that you can target and build your business around them.

There are other sites that you can apply similar maneuvering to get uncommon insights into your market searches, niches and sub-niches: Lycos.com, Shopping popular pages, Hot Search, Delicious popular pages.

You can Google them out later on. Also note that some of these sites have made updates by the time you are reading this course, but it only takes a little online fiddling to figure out your way on them.

4.0 CONCLUSION

With these tools it is super easy to target certain niches and sub-niches using profitable keywords highlighted by the software.

5.0 SUMMARY

In this chapter I narrated profitable niches and the software that you can use to identify high-in-demand niches to set up your business.

6.0 ASSIGNMENT:

Use the websites cited above to do your market research in your chosen niche now!

Beyond Just A Company Diet: 5 Steps to Productivity

My idea of a diet used to be having a salad with blue cheese dressing for lunch every once in a while. Yeah, that worked when we were 20 but things have changed. We aren’t as active as evidenced by hours behind the desk. God played some cruel trick with our metabolisms, and most of us have a tendency to enjoy the finer things in life. It’s time for a different, coordinated approach.

In the same light, too often I find clients doing good things but not necessarily the right things in their approach to productivity. Their efforts have good intentions, but in mature companies the wrong tools and structure preclude them from getting the most bang for their buck. Common examples include: using a microscope when the view from an airplane would do, starting multiple initiatives that work across purpose, prioritizing efforts based on rules of thumb, and addressing only a small portion of the opportunity set (ignoring the elephant in the room). Five simple steps can help you avoid some of these pitfalls as you address productivity in your company.

1. Weigh Yourself: Build a Foundation of Control

Most diets start with the scale, so jump on. The number could be 100 lbs or it could be 200 lbs. At this poin,t we just know we want it to go down. In addition, we need to make it a consistent measurement so weighing each morning after a shower makes sense. No need to artificially inflate those numbers with clothes, it might bruise the ego.

For a company situation, start by defining the universe of opportunity. This can be done in terms of people, assets, process, systems or some similar method. It doesn’t matter how you categorize as long as you’re inclusive of all the pieces that affect the area of influence. You wouldn’t exclude your left arm when you weigh yourself, so why would you exclude the maintenance process of your critical machinery?

Next, determine how you’re going to measure your progress. In the beginning this doesn’t have to be precise. I have plenty of clients tell me they “don’t have the data”. I can still measure diet progress without a scale or BMI (Body Mass Index) calipers. Just look in the mirror or put a tape measure around your waist. The same thing applies with companies, pick a measurement that can be consistently measured, is inclusive of all aspects, is directional correct (improvement is in the company’s interest) and move on. When we’re ready for the pro’s we’ll tune up the measurements.

Find out what the variation is. It’s hard to track a 1 pound loss with certainty when you naturally swing 5 pounds in a day. Take a look at how the measurement swings over a day, a month, a year. Does it pass the smell test from 50,000 ft? Dig in; what’s having the biggest effect on the variation? A process break down? Unreliable tools? Demand variation? There’s usually some quick wins when you use an inclusive approach.

2. Remove the Excuses: Look at the white spaces

I once met someone at a picnic who told me he was on a diet while stuffing his face with a hotdog. Curious, I asked him what kind of diet it was. He said it was low fat but “All they had out were these delicious Sahlen’s hotdogs and it takes 4 to fill me up”. I told him chicken breasts just came out of the kitchen. He shrugged and said “They never told me they were going to have that”. He didn’t feel the need to go the extra 100ft (let alone a mile) to ask if there was something else to eat that met his requirements. Excuses, excuses.

Have you ever heard “I didn’t get the parts’; I didn’t know he needed the parts”, “They never give me it on time; they never give it back on time”, or “Because we’ve been doing it that way forever”. These excuses are about accountability. Each individual builds walls in their mind where responsibility starts and ends. Once it’s over the wall it’s someone else’s problem.

We’ve all talked about department silos. Well, you can bet that the hand off between people of different departments is rife with productivity opportunity. Notice that I said “people of different departments” not just “departments”. The key here is to think about the people and their incentives. Why do people feel it’s acceptable to use the excuses?

In the short term solid process roles and responsibilities can help you capture some of the waste. Mid term, it’s about shared performance targets with a balance of what I call 3 feet accountability, responsibility for the 3 feet around you. In the long term however, you need to make people not just responsible but prideful with respect to a shared goal.

3. Dream Body: Creating a Vision of the Future

Now that we’ve established a base and we’ve proven we can do it without dying of starvation or going off the deep end, we’re in need of a little inspiration. Time to open up the old world class benchmarking magazine, maybe Runner’s World, Men’s Health, FLEX, or Shape. Pick what you want to look like, rip it out and tack it on the wall. Voila inspiration.

Too bad it isn’t that easy in corporate world. Plenty of benchmarks are out there but you have to be willing to ask and pursue. Your business is unique you say? No benchmarks available? I’d challenge that. I like to think of myself as unique, but in the end I have the same bones and muscles as you. Yours may be bigger, you may be taller, but if we find the right basis we are comparable.

Break it down, keep it simple and you can find your reference points. For example, in heavy asset industries, reliability, utilization and unit cost of assets provide great benchmarks across sectors. We can pick and choose from different companies to create a composite benchmark if needed.

Benchmarks are only one piece of the puzzle though. Markets are in continuous flux and technology is rapidly changing the way we do business. The key is to combine the three ingredients; benchmarks, markets, and technology to create a tangible vision of the future for all the employees of the company.

4. Get To It: Reengineer

You’re staring at the picture on the wall. The question is how to get there. The diet was a good start but only part of the solution. Time to rework the daily routine and add a little excise to the regiment. How much and when you add it is up to you (I’m not a morning workout person). The key is finding the right workout for you. Too much, too quick and you risk injury. Too little, too slow and you don’t get results.

You’re searching for the place where you can honestly tell yourself “Yup, I pushed myself today, I won’t feel bad about sitting on the couch and watching American Idol tonight”. Some start by walking and others by running. Sure the change is painful but after a few weeks the soreness goes away and your muscles will get used to the change. At that point it’s time to kick it up a notch. You’ll be there in no time.

They say “change is a process not an event”. Sounds good, but also sounds glacially slow with no urgency or milestones. What fun is that? In any case, a process is really a series of events and I prefer to think of change this way. The events are both our actions and in some cases our milestones. We can build urgency and measure progress in this way.

How fast you can get there is another story. A lot of factors come in to play. How much stress can the organization handle? How open to change has it been in the past? How much is dependent on outside parties? Is there a burning platform?

To make it manageable it’s important to find the critical path to the vision. There may be several building blocks that have dependencies on one another in addition to independent initiatives. To create and easily communicated critical path, cut it up into short-term, mid-term, and long-term. Next, create a detailed action plan for the short term and be sure to include any foundational elements (software systems, infrastructure, union agreements) needed for your mid-term and long-term milestones.

5. Cheat Day: Celebrate Success

Pick a day of the week, its cheat day. Eat what you like, drink what you like, do what you like. It’s a party for a job well done over 6 days and you’re invited. No guilt here, the results are coming and it’s time to admire our work.

Celebrating success is an integral part of the productivity process. Your incentive system may provide some reward for improved productivity but celebrating should go beyond that. There are lots of books on how to reward people but often it’s as simple as a pat on the back and a little public recognition to let people know you appreciate what they’ve done. Have you hit a major milestone? Time for a bigger reward? Pick a day, any day, it’s cheat day!

Get Off the Couch: Get Started

Just like getting off the couch, execution is often the most difficult part. By holding people accountable for changes and keeping everyone’s attention based on an inclusive measure you can make big strides in a short period of time.

Facts About Cold Sores

Cold sores are unsightly, contagious and very painful sores, normally occurring on the edge of the lip or nose.

Cold sores are created by the replication process of the herpes simplex virus type 1 or type 2. Current studies show that about 77% of cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex type 1 and about 23% by the type 2 version of this simplex virus. For the most part, cold sores caused by either type of the herpes virus are identical. They both look the same, hurt the same, are just as contagious, and last about the same amount of weeks.

Cold sores will occur and reoccur in about the same location as the initial infection. For example, if your cold sore appears on your upper left lip, then this is the site of the original infection. The virus that causes cold sores lives in the nerve cells. It will seek out the nearest nerve fibers at the site where the virus enters the body. That herpes virus will make a home in that particular nerve fiber for the rest of your life.

Now don’t be fooled. You can be infected several times in different locations. If another cold sore appears on your lower right lip, this is a different infection and you now have located another “family” of the cold sore virus living in another nerve fiber.

When you have a cold sore, keep in mind that you are not only very contagious to others, but to other locations on your own body too. Cold sores can appear anywhere on the body where the virus found a crack in the protective skin layer.

The herpes simplex virus normally is in hibernation farther down the nerve fibers from the surface. If you get a cold sore on your upper left lip, chances are this virus is hiding in the nerve ganglia near your left ear.

Your body defenses create cold sore anti-bodies each time you have a cold sore outbreak. These anti-bodies surround and help keep the herpes virus asleep. Should there be some stress in another part of your body, these defenses may weaken and the cold sore virus will snatch the opportunity to move to the surface and create new viruses.

The herpes simplex virus cannot reproduce itself. The virus will enter a nerve cell and force the cell to clone copies of itself. When the cell becomes full of new virus, the original virus will destroy the cell to release all the new clones. This destruction of millions of cells in a close area create those hideous open cold sores.

The open cold sore would be painful enough, but it is even more so because the herpes virus creates the cold sore right on the end of that nerve fiber. The pain is quite similar to a dentist hitting a nerve.

The most common way of infecting others with cold sores is kissing. Doting relatives and friends usually infect children before they are seven. Remember, you are contagious from the first tingle until about two days after complete healing.

Cold sore sufferers will many times create a new area of infection on their body with contaminated fingers or towels. The fluid that weeps from cold sores is teaming with fresh virus looking for a new home. If you have a cut on your finger and you get even one virus in that cut, you will likely get cold sores on your finger.

The body will naturally cure your cold sores without any special cold sore treatment but it often takes three to four weeks. A long time to be socially sidelined and feeling poorly.

There are many over-the-counter and prescription treatments for cold sores. The best and quickest relief comes from topical treatments – a salve or ointment that you put directly on the cold sore. There are some prescription pills that are available but these are generally slow acting, giving no immediate relief for the cold sore sufferer. For the most part, oral remedies from the drug companies have been dismal failures.

Many people have reported great success with oral doses of the amino acid Lysine. Recommended dosage is 1000 mg. twice a day during the cold sores outbreak and 500 mg. per day between cold sores.

Ice is still the most universal and readily available cold sore treatment. Put ice cubes in a zipper type plastic bag and you’ll avoid a lot of mess. Ice reduces swelling, deadens the pain, and helps discourage the cold sores virus. And applying ice at the first sign of a cold sore often prevents the cold sore from actually occurring or shortens the life-span of your cold sores.

8 Critical Cold Sore Stages

Let’s look at the 8 distinct cold sore stages, and what you can do now to lessen the severity, discomfort and length of your cold sore event.

Cold sore stages 2-8 are the active stages and are very contagious during this time. Usually 3 to 4 weeks is the average life-span of a cold sore. Much depends on your health and choice of treatments for each of your cold sore stages.

COLD SORE STAGES: #1 – LATENT – Here the cold sore herpes simplex virus is hiding in the nerve ganglia near the back of the jaw on the same side as your cold sore usually appears. The cold sore virus may “sleep” for weeks or years without incident. Your body’s defense “soldiers” keep them in check. When there is stress in another part of your body, your defenses may drop at this location. Then the cold sore virus can escape and travel to the surface to reproduce – beginning the active cold sore stages.

COLD SORE STAGES: # 2 – PRODROME – The cold sore virus reproductive cycle begins here. The cold sore virus travels down your nerve fibers to the surface. This movement causes your cold sore target area to itch or tingle. You may notice a burning or dryness sensation. This stage could last a few hours to a few days before entering the more intense cold sore stages.

COLD SORE STAGES: # 3 – INFLAMMATION Your cold sore virus has now arrived at the surface and begins it’s reproductive cycle by entering the cells at the end of the nerve. This causes a lot of swelling and redness at the cold sore site as your cells react to being invaded by the herpes cold sore virus .

COLD SORE STAGES: # 4 – PRE-SORE – Cold sores at this stage are defined by the appearance of cold sore vesicles. A full blown cold sore is not one big blister but a grouping of small blisters called vesicles. You will notice these vesicles as tiny, hard pimples or red bumps that are painfully sensitive to the touch.

COLD SORE STAGES: # 5 – OPEN SORE – Your most painful and contagious of the cold sore stages. All the vesicles break open and merge to create one big open, weeping sore. Depending on the severity, you may develop a fever and swollen lymph glands under the jaw.

The weeping fluid is teaming with newly born cold sore viruses. Touching this fluid, you could easily spread the cold sore virus to another part of your own body or to someone else – either by direct touch or shared objects such as hand towels, telephones, and faucets.

COLD SORE STAGES: # 6 – CRUSTING – A cold sore will develop a yellowish crust or scab as it begins to finally start the healing process. Your cold sore is still painful at this stage. More painful, however, is the constant cracking of your cold sore scab when you move or stretch your lips, as in smiling.

COLD SORE STAGES: # 7- HEALING – Cold sores, once scabbed over, begin healing from the inside out. As new skin forms under the crust, you will experience continued itching, irritation and some pain. Your cold sore virus is now retreating back to the nerve ganglia area where it will sleep until the next opportunity.

COLD SORE STAGES: # 8 – POST SCAB – Cold sores at this stage no longer have a visible cold sore scab and your skin has totally healed. Under your new skin, healing is still taking place as the destroyed cells are regenerated. This produces a red spot that may linger for another 2 to 14 days – depending on your personal healing speed. You are still contagious until this red spot disappears. This waiting is the most frustrating of the cold sore stages.

WHAT YOU CAN DO NOW –

Cold sore over-the-counter medications, experts agree, are primarily comfort treatments for the cold sore stages. Some contain numbing agents that greatly reduce your pain. Some cold sore medications contain an anti-bacterial to prevent secondary infections. None of these cold sore medications have been shown to actually shorten the life-span of any of your cold sore stages.

Medical science has been working feverishly on a cure for the herpes virus but have not, as yet, had any real success in developing an effective cold sore remedy. Prescription anti-virals, both the oral versions and the topical salves, have been a dismal failure for the most part. Vaccines are being tested but are 3-4 years out yet. New breakthroughs could be just around the corner however.

But you don’t need to wait!

More and more doctors now agree. There are times when natural science just seems to be the best choice. Often our ONLY choice. This is certainly true – right now – for herpes cold sores.

Data studies have shown natural science remedies can reduce the cold sore events by as much as 79%.

Yes! And, in fact, actually prevent your cold sores from taking place altogether.

The great news – these remedies are available to you today.

If you are a cold sore victim, you would be well advised to look into these powerful natural remedies without delay for shortening or preventing your cold sores.

Why Do Children Get Cold Sores?

If you’re a parent, this may be question that you are asking yourself. Sure, you’ve probably dealt with a cold sore before, but you may be wondering why your child is dealing with them. Well, it’s actually fairly easy for kids to get cold sores. In fact, usually most people have contact with the herpes simplex virus type 1 when they are children rather than as adults. So, if you notice your child getting a cold sore, don’t freak out. There are many reasons that they may be getting one.

Sharing Towels or Cups with Others

One reason that kids often come in contact with cold sores is because they share towels or cups with others. If you have a breakout and you share a cup with your child, then you may be the one passing it on to them. However, many kids pick this up in school. Kids often don’t think about germs and they may share drinks, silverware, or even towels at school or day care, which can lead to cold sores breaking out when they contract the virus from someone else.

Exposure to the Herpes Virus

Why do children get cold sores? Well, exposure to the herpes virus is the main reason. They have to come in contact with this virus in some way in order to end up getting a cold sore. They may come in contact with the virus from you or from someone at school. Kissing your kids when you have a cold sore can spread it to them, or they may come in close contact with someone at school that has it and then they get it too. So, it’s really a problem that is very contagious and easily spread around.

They Get a Cold

If your child has already contracted the virus, when they get a cold, they may end up getting a cold sore as well. In fact, sometimes you may notice that your child gets a cold sore right before or right after getting a cold. Although the herpes virus is often sitting their dormant, the cold can trigger it and your child can end up with a nasty cold sore.

Stress Can Cause It

Wondering why do children get cold sores? Well, often if they’ve already been exposed to the herpes simplex virus, some stress can end up leading to a breakout of these sores. Stress can cause a breakout in both kids and adults alike, and kids do deal with stress in their lives. If they go through a particularly stressful situation, you may notice that a breakout is not far behind. So, make sure that you watch your child carefully when they go through stress. If a breakout seems to be coming, make sure that you treat the problem as soon as you can.

How to Turn Clients Away in 3 Simple Steps

1. Have a horrible website

One of the most important representations of your business is your website. If you want to turn clients away when they visit your website you should;

  • Have lots of different colors and fonts on each page
  • Post a photo that looks like you took it yourself with a cellphone and is really blurry
  • Include clip art icons and cartoon images
  • Use a flash video as the first page and make them watch it before they can access any other pages on your site
  • Have so many graphics that the page takes forever to load and tests their patience
  • List all your pages on your navigation bar and give them lots of choices to click on
  • Let your high school neighbor or teenager design it

2. List your one-on-one coaching session as your only service offering

If you want to turn clients away, you should provide only one product/service and expect them to buy it no matter how expensive it is without even knowing who you are or testing your services with lower end products.

You should also only offer one-on-one coaching sessions in order to limit the amount of clients that you can service and therefore turn away even more clients because you simply won’t have the time to coach them all.

You should not provide downloadable products such as eBooks or audios for automatic download and passive income.

3. Market your services to everybody

Create your website content and marketing material with “everyone” in mind. Don’t speak to a certain group of people or target market. Spend all your marketing time and money advertising in the most expensive   magazines  that reach the largest group of people so that you can reach everybody.

Believe that you don’t want to limit yourself to a small niche and turn away any client therefore anyone can benefit from your services. In fact, if you want to lose clients by marketing to everyone and anyone;

  • Don’t sit down to create a profile of your ideal client (don’t include their age, sex, income, location, etc…)
  • Don’t spend a few weekends doing research to see where they hangout online and becoming an active member of their forums and social media groups
  • Don’t create products and services that provide solutions to their most pressing problems and issues.

I hope you’ll take this advice lightly and do the opposite! To recap; have a clean and smartly designed website, create products for passive revenue, and pick a niche/target market.

Vegetarian Cookbooks – 7 Things All Great Vegetarian Cookbooks Must Have

In order for vegetarian cookbooks to be great I believe they need to have seven very important ingredients…

1. Large colorful photos of the finished recipes – I don’t know about you but one of my favorite past times is laying around on the sofa or a deck chair and flicking through vegetarian cookbooks and magazines looking at photos and getting inspired to cook one that looks great.

2. Measurements in cups and spoons as opposed to weights – nothing frustrates me more than going to cook a recipe and having to weigh 10g of this and 100g of that. I find it so much easier when recipes say 1 cup of flour or 1/2 cup of Tahini or a handful of broccoli.

3. Small ingredients lists – I love cooking and I do enjoy cooking elaborate recipes but most of the time I want recipes that can be cooked with the least amount of time and fuss. I love vegetarian cookbooks that have recipes with ingredient lists of no more than 10 ingredients, preferably with just 6, and quick and easy steps in the cookery method.

4. Breakfast, lunch/dinner and sweets – I’m not into entree, starters, mains and desert type vegetarian cookbooks. I’m about being practical, we eat breakfast lunch and dinner every day and most of us have a sweet tooth so I like vegetarian cookbooks that have a table of contents categorized into breakfast, lunch/dinner (most vegetarian meals can be either lunch or dinner) and sweets.

5. I also like reading short notes about where the author found the inspiration for the dish. I think it personalizes the cookbook and makes a very interesting read.

6. A good index – Recipes need to be listed by more than just the name of the dish. French Fries need to be listed under “F” for French Fries as well as “P” for potatoes. By listing recipes under their name and the main vegetable makes it easy to search for something to make with the fresh seasonal produce you just picked from the garden or purchased from the local farmers market. It also helps at the end of the week when you are wondering how to use up the left over vegetables in the fridge.

7. I also like vegetarian cookbooks that are categorized into seasons. After all, that is the way nature intended us to eat. Fresh seasonal produce is the healthiest and most environmental way to eat.

Is ZENMED Acne Treatment Worth a Try?

ZENMED prides itself as the most effective acne treatment with minimal side effects. Is it a reliable product? Read my ZENMED review and get the Pros & Cons below.

I have acne. I’m 34 and have had acne since I was 11. Do the math; that’s over three decades of terrible skin. How I managed to escape my teen years without intense scarring is part miracle and part good skincare products. I’ve tried everything; from drying benzoyl peroxide baths to an egg yolk and sugar concoction to strange detox diets, the past thirty years have been a constant battle with my skin.

I’m not alone, either. Millions of people suffer from acne of varying degrees, and not just teenagers, although the teen years are uncomfortable enough to deal with without having to slog your way through life with ugly and painful facial eruptions. And most, if not all, of us want some kind of miracle potion that will help us get rid of acne and have clear, smooth, porcelain skin for life. Oh, and a winning lottery ticket and flying cars.

The truth is, acne products vary as widely as people do. The delicate balance of chemical interactions on your skin and within your body mean that what works for your impeccably-clear-skinned best friend won’t work for you. A gorgeous friend once recommended a product to me, and it gave me a rash. Oh, and it didn’t cure my acne, either.

While some truths are universal–eat a healthy diet, drink lots of water, don’t sleep in your makeup, and keep your hands off your face–many of us are using the wrong products for our skin. This can make the situation worse, which is frustrating and makes us write misleading (albeit well-intentioned) reviews of acne medication in our search for the best acne treatment available.

The Reason Behind Poor Zenmed Reviews

Zenmed reviews are a mixed bag. For example, some people think that the costly medication is a waste of your hard-earned dollars. While this is true of any medication that doesn’t do what it says or makes your condition worse, there is, of course, a caveat. If you have dry skin and buy an acne medication for oily skin, you shouldn’t be surprised when your skin dries up even more and your acne is exacerbated. Over-drying of the skin leads to over-production of the sebaceous glands, which can lead to more acne.

In addition, many people often overdo it on acne products, thinking more must be better. If you overuse anything, you will experience irritation, and irritation of skin can lead to more breakouts. Another common problem is that people with such severe acne that only medical intervention can provide relief may try over-the-counter medications like Zenmed and get frustrated when it’s not a miracle cure.

The Importance of Buying the Right Products for your Skin Type

Take a moment to really think about your skin type. Do you have to moisturize daily to keep your skin from feeling tight (and does the moisturizer often make you break out)? Congratulations, you have dry skin. Are you over 30, like me, and still suffering from acne? Your skin will benefit from the oil-free hydration of the Acne Therapy for Dry Mature Skin kit.

The problem with many Zenmed reviews is that not everyone fully educates themselves on how Zenmed works before writing a review. Many people who write poor Zenmed reviews have chosen the incorrect product for their type of skin. The best acne treatment is one that fits your skin type, is used correctly and consistently, and is given time to work. No treatment will work overnight, and like any medication, it may take some time for your skin to make a complete turnaround.

Zenmed’s Complete Care Systems for All Skin Types

Whether you’re suffering from rosacea, body acne, or just good old-fashioned pizza face, you will find a wealth of products from Zenmed. You should definitely take some time to read some Zenmed reviews, but take them with a grain of salt. The best reviews to follow are the ones that are obviously written in a neutral tone, clearly spelling out the good and the bad. After you’ve read a few Zenmed reviews, be sure to do some research about the kind of acne you want to treat and be honest with yourself about the condition of your skin.

Zenmed’s Long History of Success as the Best Acne Treatment

Because of its recent popularity and mention in several world-famous   magazines , many people don’t realize Zenmed has enjoyed an excellent success rate since 2000. Many people have reported wonderful results with absolutely zero side effects.

Zenmed’s Conscientious and High-Quality Ingredients

As with food, the ingredients are what make a medication. You won’t find any parabens, irritating sulfur, or unethical animal products in Zenmed. What you will find, however, is high-quality ingredients in a gently cleansing and healing product, which will ultimately lead to clearer, softer, and smoother skin.

Excellent Zenmed Reviews From Dermatologists

While user reviews vary, dermatologists tend to think that Zenmed is the best acne treatment when consistently used as directed. Dermatologists have recommended Zenmed to many of their patients. A dermatologist can recommend which Zenmed product is best for your skin type, which is of utmost importance when ordering Zenmed.

Excellent Zenmed Reviews From World-Renowned Publications

Zenmed reviews have been featured in the quest for the best acne product in Marie Claire, Allure, and Glamour  magazines . These reviews are thorough and honest, and these  magazines  recommend Zenmed for all kinds of acne treatments.

Four Zenmed Kits Help You Find the Best Acne Treatment

  1. Derma Cleanse for a holistic approach that keeps you acne-free from the inside out.
  2. Acne Therapy for Oily Skin uses the highest-quality ingredients to tackle the overproduction of sebum from the sebaceous glands, which can clog pores and lead to acne.
  3. Acne Therapy for Combination Skin focuses on the oily nature of the T-zone while helping the drier areas like the cheeks stay moisturized without breaking out.
  4. Acne Therapy for Dry Mature Skin helps those of us who have found that, unfortunately, acne doesn’t always go away as you get older. This kit allows you to moisturize your drying older skin while treating and preventing acne.

Zenmed’s Excellent Benefits That Go Beyond Clear Skin

Many Zenmed reviews focus on whether it is actually the best acne treatment, and gloss over the corporate culture of conscientiousness and other benefits like 24/7 customer service, the 60-day money-back guarantee, the excellent results against cystic chin acne, and the highly customizable nature of the acne kits.

Reviews for the best acne treatment will always vary by the user. Many people who have used Zenmed as recommended and purchased the correct kit for their skin type have left glowing reviews and consider Zenmed the best acne treatment on the market.

There are certainly drawbacks to Zenmed; namely, because of the high-quality ingredients, Zenmed will cost more than your average drugstore brand. In addition, you may notice complications or worsening of your acne if you buy the wrong kit. It’s important to understand what your skin type is before ordering Zenmed so that you buy the best acne treatment for your skin.

Zenmed offers great results to most mild to moderate acne sufferers. As long as you order the correct skincare system for your skin, use the products consistently and as recommended, and are patient, you will discover clearer, more radiant skin for life.
